We ran into difficulty with our boat trailer while on a fishing trip recently. Our lodge owner contacted Rick, as he works on their vehicles and they are very happy with his service. Rick treated us like long time customers, understood our situation, worked with us and offered suggestions, all things evident with someone more concerned with wanting to help us out than make money. He dropped what he was doing and got us on our way after first visit and then gain after receiving the parts. Rick really went out of his way to help us out in a pinch. Had problems with the hitch coupler on vintage trailer, Rick fixed it for us so we can get safely home. Extremely kind and courteous, had us back on the road in no time, but he did take the time to pet our dog.

I was on way to Saskatchewan when truck started to sound awful. I figured it was the water pump and didn’t dare drive any further. I stayed the weekend at the nearby provincial park and showed up at the shop at 8am Monday morning.Despite the fact that I didn’t have an appointment, they understood my predicament and did their best to get me back on my way. Carolyn made sure she got the right part and juggled the ongoing repairs in order to squeeze me in.She runs the front office of that place like an air traffic controller, booking appointments, assigning work, ordering parts and creating invoices. It was something to watch.Rick, the owner confirmed my suspicions about the water pump and explained that he would make sure to order all of the parts that might be needed from Thunder Bay. That way if they ran into a bad belt or pulley during the repair, I wouldn’t have to wait for more parts.Jamie, the technician started to remove the pump before the parts arrived and once they did get there, he had it done in no time at all.Everyone was super friendly, and professional and the price was very reasonable. I don’t live anywhere near there, but if I did, I would be taking my vehicle there.They turned what could have been an awful situation into a positive experience!
